Transforming Lives through Education, Skills Development, and Humanitarian Support
We seek to bring solutions to refugees and the host community’s most pressing challenges through four thematic areas of Education, Health, Livelihood, and Community Service and Protection.
We believe that by using the people who are part of the community suffering the problems, the best solutions can be achieved. We therefore use the Human Centre Design (HCD) Approach, a Bottom-Up Strategy to design and implement our programs. There is nothing for us without us.
Where We Work
UGANDA
Around 8 million children start primary school, but less than half reach secondary. For refugees, only 40% attend primary, under 10% reach secondary, and even fewer make it to university.

Student
P4T helped me with skills and knowledge needed in my life, from primary and now sponsored to secondary school. I’m determined to be an accountant and advocate of girl child education

Bizimungu Shaban
When Bizimungu Shaban first arrived in Uganda as a refugee in 2000, there was water he drank from a swamp to satisfy his thirst and has never access clean water for 22 years. Thanks to a new water wells project implemented by P4T with funded by Mission of Hope, his family has plenty of clean water to drink now.

Kemigisa Joyce
“P4T changed my life, I don’t have to beg from my neighbours anymore”, said Kemigisa Joyce who was P4T Nursey and Primary school head teacher. Planning For Tomorrow (P4T) always provided and encouraged it staff to have saving cultures from their monthly salaries.

Sifa
“I would come to school late because I would have to go home at lunch time to change, and it would take me two hour to walk there and back, so I would miss classes in the afternoon.”
