Do you want to support us or start a fundraiser? There are many ways you can help us help others. Below you have some suggestions, but you can of course come up with something fun yourself while making a contribution to a good cause! :)
CELEBRATE YOUR BIG DAY WITH A FUNDRAISER
It's your special day - whether it's a birthday or another anniversary. Why not celebrate and at the same time make a contribution to giving others a better life? Ask friends and family for a donation instead of gifts?
You can quickly and easily set up a collection on Spleis or on Facebook, it is done in a few minutes. Or you can request that friends and family donate directly to us.
Join us in the work we do in Uganda to improve the lives of children and families, and provide education and training so that more people can shape their own future.
INVITE YOUR CLASS TO A FUNDRAISER
Start a fundraiser at school or in the classroom, and help P4T to provide education, food and protection for children.
Engage friends, family and classmates to raise funds to improve children's lives and futures through education, protection and, not least, good nutrition.
With your school on the team, you have the opportunity to be part of and bring about a positive change in the world.Remember to talk to school management and get permission before starting a fundraiser.
A good idea can be to plan an event, choose a date and make it a fun day while helping to give more children the opportunity to shape their own future, and not least prevent children from getting married prematurely and dropping out of school.Do you want to start such a fundraiser?

GET YOUR COLLEAGUES AT WORK INVOLVED
Gather colleagues around a fundraiser for a good cause. Many are happy to contribute, so why not set a goal and get your colleagues with you?
Remember to ask permission from your employer before starting a fundraiser. You can set up a fundraiser online, on Facebook or use Spleis. The possibilities are many. Feel free to link to our website so that everyone can see who it is you are raising funds for.

YOU CAN DONATE YOUR USED LAPTOPS, PHONES, TABLETS/IPADS WHICH WILL BE SENT TO HELP REFUGEES IN UGANDA
Help comes in many forms. At P4TNorge, we welcome products and other things that individuals and partners want to donate or help with.
Mobile phones
Mobile phones can be used as a Child Helpline will be given to our Child Protection committees and schools which aim to respond and report child abuses, child labour, violences including early and forced marriage of children under 18 years of age.
Tablets / Ipads, laptop as a new E-learning technology
All schools in Uganda were closed for almost 2 years due to Covid-19 lockdown and millions learners were sent back home, including refugee children. The tablets will help teachers plan assignments while also helping students focus on their homework and education online. These devices will help improve the computer skills of refugee children and boost their creativity. The tablets will be installed and loaded with learning content such as English, Mathematic, Social studies, science and Child rights, as approved by the Ugandan National Curriculum Development Centre. This will empower children with life skills on how to promote their own rights and also enhancing literacy and numeracy skills.
Do you have a mobile, tablet/Ipad, or laptop you want to give away? Before donation please clear your device of all your personal files. If you can, keep the software programs such as Microsoft Office, Adobe, etc.
